Our pregnancy tests are 99% accurate. We ask that you be 28-31 days from your last period before you come in for a pregnancy test. This is to insure that you have an accurate pregnancy test result.

The hormone hCG is detected for a positive result. Typically it takes about the amount of time of a missed period for this hormone to show up. When a woman is pregnant, her body produces a hormone called HCG, which can be detected in urine and blood. A pregnancy test yields a positive result when the hormone is present. Trained staff and registered nurses are available during clinic hours to help in determining if a client is pregnant.
